Charity begins at home
The Pines is a not-for-profit community and we believe we have a responsibility to give back to our community. While for-profit communities use their income to pay dividends to investors, we reinvest revenue after expenses right back into the community, where it belongs. Sometimes the need is at an individual level. For that reason, we have a Benevolent Fund for residents who outlive their assets.
We also strive to follow our mission by serving the broader Ocean County community. Both residents and staff join in our goal and participate in various fundraisers, charitable events, volunteer work, and service projects. Often, residents and staff spark the ideas and even help to organize the projects.
As part of an engaged, healthy and happy lifestyle, our residents are quick to help out in our store, with activities in the health center, or volunteering in various ways throughout our community. Our residents enjoy more fulfilled lives because of what they give!
