Chief Executive Officer
Eric became the Chief Executive Officer in April 2014. Prior to this move, he has been the Manager of Operations and Resident Services since 2000. Eric has dedicated his work to senior living for over 20 years, previously working for Crestwood Manor and the Masonic Home of New Jersey. Eric earned a Bachelor of Science from Widener University in Pennsylvania and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with the New Jersey Department of Health.
Eric was a strategic creator of The Pines’ approach that focuses on five main components: Fitness, Recreation, Education, Spirituality, and Health. As a result of Eric’s work in this area, The Pines received the Leading Age of New Jersey “Innovation of the Year” award.
Eric has also been an active member of his community, serving on the Burlington Township Board of Education and Dollars for Scholars. Additionally, he is currently the Vice President of the Burlington Township Foundation.
Health Care Administrator
Pat is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator with 25 years of experience working in long term and sub-acute healthcare. She is customer-service driven with a sincere love for working with the vulnerable aging population. Pat has expertise in all aspects of healthcare management with a strong focus on census building and referral development. She also has an accomplished record of budget management, including staff retention, resulting in substantial savings.
Pat’s continuing education strengths include Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement, Disaster Preparedness, Staff Education, and Labor Law. The healthcare programs at The Pines have earned strong results on state surveys and customer satisfaction benchmarks. In 2012, Pat was recognized as an outstanding administrator by her receipt of the American College of Health Care Administrators “Facility Leadership Award” and she is a founding member of the Ocean Regional Ethics Committee.
Chief Financial Officer
Georgina joined The Pines in her current position in September 1997. Prior to joining the community, Georgina was employed by two different New Jersey retirement communities: as Chief Financial Officer at Winchester Gardens from 1996 to 1997 and as Director of Accounting at Applewood Estates from 1993 to 1995.
Georgina earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in accounting from Rutgers University, a Masters in Business Administration from Monmouth University, and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant.
Director of Sales & Marketing
Wendy Harshaw has dedicated more than 23 years of combined healthcare and senior living services to her career path.
Wendy joined The Pines in July 2013 as the Director of Sales & Marketing. Prior to joining The Pines, she had a long and successful career with several national senior living providers. Her experience in the senior living industry has always included a three-pronged approach on people, product, and results, which served her well as Director of Sales & Marketing. Wendy received media notoriety for her successful venture as a proprietor and Executive Director of 2 Adult Foster Care home(s).
Wendy believes that people make the difference and maintains a strong commitment to cultivating talent within the industry. As a result, she’s mastered the ability to elevate the overall performance of organizations by building engaged, passionate, and skilled teams. Her strengths are based on a creative yet strategic approach to business development, healthcare marketing, and brand management. She drives bottom-line, revenue, and margin results. Wendy served on several boards most recently a 3 year term with the National Association of Cooperative Housing where she received over 43,000 votes.
Passion and purpose are her unwavering principles, which drives Wendy’s strategic and visionary leadership in the senior living industry.
