What is a Continuing Care Retirement Community?
A continuing care retirement community is a convenient, satisfying place to live that brings true security and peace of mind because you have the assurance of assisted living, skilled nursing care and memory care on the premises, should you need it. You live in a residential community with people who share your interests and outlook. You live in your own home with your possessions but free from the stress of maintenance, housekeeping and meal preparation.
How does it differ from living at home?
It is living at home, but a home designed for the life you are living now. You enjoy all the freedom you're accustomed to, with many added features for comfort and safety. Included in your package are breakfast and dinner, housekeeping services, transportation, grounds care, emergency call service and more. A well-trained staff of maintenance workers will take care of any repair problem that might arise. The worries are ours, not yours.
